Older Wiser Lutheran Seniors

                      November 2009

OWLS will gather again on Tuesday, November 3,
2009 beginning at 10:30 A.M. in the fellowship
hall.  We will have a very special guest speaker for
this event.  A daughter of the congregation, Pam
Morgan, nationally recognized singer, speaker and
author, will be speaking to us about her new book
"I Stand - A Miraculous Journey from Paralysis to
Praise."   Come and hear Pam's inspiring story as
she shares how her heart was broken and her faith
strenghtened as she discovered unshakeable faith
and deep-rooted joy in spite of tragedy and
uncertainty.  Pam's program begins at 11:00 am.

The OWLS extend an invitation to all our Peace
members, friends and neighbors.  No one is either
too young or too old to attend.  We ask only that
you enjoy yourself in the time you spend with us.  
Bring a covered dish and join us for lunch.  
Normally our program and lunch will finish around
1:00 pm.  Feel free to linger as long as you wish
for visiting and fellowship.  Our monthly gatherings
are in the fellowship hall beginning at 10:30 A.M.
the first Tuesday of each month.
